The Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
There are so many photos from my roadtrips with Jess that it makes the most sense to break it down by the day. Thousands of people visit the Cliffs of Moher every year, I knew it was the place to see on the west coast of the country, but nothing could prepare me for how incredible it actually was. Never have I felt so small in my life, nor has the fear of falling off of a cliff into the angry ocean below been so real.
It was windy, it was rainy, it was chilly; it was awesome. I don't mind shooting on grey days, kind of like a metaphor for life, can't always be sunshine. Sometimes you have to take what you have a run with it.
By the time we made it back to the car, I was frozen. My gloves were soaked from the rain, my jeans were wet and I was shivering, so we didn't get to the other side of the cliffs. As much as I would have liked to see them all, I can't wait to go back. You would need a whole day or days to be able to see the entire park. As they say, you only live once? Well I disagree, you live everyday, and once in awhile, it's good to look back and see that in all the time I was stressing about the what ifs, I've lived a pretty great life with amazing friends and have had some amazing experiences. So am I sad I didn't see all of the Cliffs of Moher? No, I'll be back. I will definitely be back.
